Future Talent at the House of Lords

Future Talent Celebrates New Advisory Group at the House of Lords, with performances from our young musicians and alumni.
October 11, 2024

Last week, Future Talent marked an exciting milestone with a special visit to the House of Lords, celebrating the launch of our new advisory group and sharing plans for our 20th anniversary. The event brought together supporters, partners, and alumni to reflect on the past two decades of nurturing young musical talent and to look forward to our next chapter.

Susannah

Guests were treated to inspiring performances from some of the incredible young musicians and alumni we have had the privilege of supporting. Susannah delivered a stunning performance, beginning with a piece by Bach, followed by a more contemporary work by Katherine Hoover, which showcased her versatility. Casey-Joan then wowed the audience with a lively and energetic performance of a sonata by Eugène Ysaÿe on violin.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming alumni guitarist Thomas to the stage. He performed two pieces: Stanley Myers' Cavatina, arranged by John Williams, followed by a tango by Roland Dyens.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, this event served as a wonderful reminder of the impact that Future Talent has had and will continue to have on young musicians across the UK. Here's to many more years of championing future musical stars!
